The Medicinal Chemistry Group (NEQUIMED) is composed by a set of laboratories from different areas of knowledge:

(i) organic synthesis

(ii) cheminformatics

(iii) biochemical assays & calorimetry

 

The main area of research are under the scrutiny of NEQUIMED researchers:

– anti-trypanosomatide compounds with emphasis on Chagas disease (Trypanosoma cruzi).
