Our mission

We are in a continuous effort to generate knowledge from a huge amount of data and information based on the following paradigm: we are on a quality-driven approach. It is much important to ask ‘what’ kind of book someone had already read than asking ‘how many’ books someone had already read.

The exploration of the vast chemical-biological space is the cornerstone to do the discovery and development of new drug candidates. This can be achieved during the information-to-knowledge process, always looking for novel chemicals that could improve the therapeutic portfolio of human diseases. Our group is focused on identifying new therapeutic approaches for two areas: tropical disease (composed by Chagas Disease and leishmaniasis) and prostate cancer.
